The base fabric is a Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, a technical fabric composed of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. Its printed design combines retro and botanical elements, with a floral theme focused on plants and petals. The design is characterized by being multicolor, bringing vivacity and joy to the garment or accessory to which it is applied. Regarding general characteristics, the fabric has a waterproof and water-repellent finish, with a delicate and soft texture to the touch, and a smooth appearance.
The fabric printed with this design would be ideal for jackets and raincoats for women, men, and children, as well as for shower curtains. Additionally, given its impermeability, it would also be suitable for bathroom accessories such as bathrobes or towels. As for plain colors that could be combined, greens and reds would complement the botanical and floral theme of the design, but also grays, blues, and blacks to give a more sophisticated touch to the garment.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing, meaning that the pattern is only on one side of the fabric. This is why the base fabric has a smooth and soft finish on its other side.
Regarding care, this garment does not allow bleach or dry cleaning, and must be ironed at a cold temperature. In addition, it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, it is worth noting that the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a technique that allows obtaining high-quality and durable designs on synthetic fabrics such as polyester through the transfer of inks using heat and pressure.
