The base fabric is an Organic Viyella called Moscow, made of 100% organic cotton and with a weight of 140 gr/m2. This fabric has a soft texture to the touch and is ideal for making clothing for both men and women, as well as for creating home textiles in its version of tablecloths and napkins.
The printed design is abstract with a watercolor touch, featuring butterflies as the main insects and a simple but very decorative vector pattern. The main colors are dragon purple, rebecca purple, and seaweed green, so it can be combined with plain colors such as white, gray, black, and dark green tones.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the design is only present on one side of the fabric and the other side is plain colored.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its softness and resistance to daily use stand out, thanks to the high quality of the organic cotton with which it is made. For its part, the printed design is complex in terms of the representation of insects and simple in terms of the patterns arrangement.
The applications of this fabric are diverse, ranging from womens and mens fashion in the making of dresses and shirts, to the creation of decorative home textiles such as tablecloths, napkins, and pajamas.
It is important to consider the recommended care for this fabric, such as washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not using bleach, ironing at a warm temperature, and not using a tumble dryer. In addition, dry cleaning is recommended except for trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is reactive direct digital, which guarantees high quality in the resolution of the printed image and the fixation of colors in the organic cotton fiber.
