Recycled Lycra is a soft and elastic fabric, perfect for swimwear and sportswear. Its printed design features a multicolor combination with a distorted modern art style. Some solid colors that could combine with this design are fuchsia, green, and neutral tones such as white and black. The fabric is digitally printed on one side with the design.
The soft and elastic texture of the fabric allows great freedom of movement and a comfortable fit to the body. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+, which makes it ideal for use in water and sun environments. The applications and uses of this fabric range from making bikinis and swimsuits to hair ties and scrunchies in its reduced version.
It is important to note that this fabric requires specific care to maintain its characteristics intact. It is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not use bleach, as well as iron at a cold temperature and not tumble dry. Dry cleaning is not allowed.
Recycled Lycra is manufactured with sublimation printing technology, which allows for high image definition and great color fidelity. This technique consists of printing the image on special sublimation paper and then transferring the ink to the fabric using a thermal press. The result is a durable and wear-resistant design.
