The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin features a simple yet intricate printed design, dominated by circular and polka-dot shapes in aubergine purple, MistyRose pink, and midnight black tones. This design adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the fabric, making it ideal for a wide range of applications, from upholstering chairs and sofas to crafting trousers, jackets, blazers, coats, bags, and backpacks.
Printed with sublimation technology on polyester, the printed design is on one side of the fabric, making it an excellent choice for decoration and fashion projects that require greater durability and wear resistance. Additionally, the fabric has a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, giving it a soft feel and a shiny texture.
Among the general characteristics of the fabric, we highlight its grammage of 280g/m2 and its width of 150cm. These attributes, combined with its resistance to deformation, make it perfect for projects that require greater strength and durability.
Regarding applications and uses, the Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is ideal for both decoration and fashion projects. For decoration, it is perfect for upholstering furniture in the bedroom, living room, or kitchen, and also for making cushions, baskets, and other accessories. In fashion, it is perfect for crafting trousers, jackets, blazers, coats, bags, and backpacks, among others.
As for care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. It does not allow dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a cool temperature. Likewise, it should not be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation. This technique involves printing the design onto transfer paper and then transferring the image to the polyester using heat and pressure. The result is a resistant and durable design that does not wear out with use or washing.
