The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric of 270 gr/m2 with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. This fabric is printed with an artistic and colorful design, inspired by nature, with a rainbow sky as a background. The main colors of the design are pearl pink, light blue, and sun yellow. This fabric can be combined with other solid colors to create an interesting contrast.
The printed design has a soft and pleasant texture to the touch, while the fabric itself is chlorine resistant and has a very high UPF sun protection factor of 50+. In terms of applications, this fabric is ideal for lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, tights, and leggings, as well as for bathing suits and swimwear. Its high elasticity makes it easy to adapt to different sizes and shapes, while its soft finish makes it comfortable to wear.
Regarding care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40º C and avoid the use of bleach. Dry cleaning is also possible, but products containing trichloroethylene should be avoided. Ironing should be done at low temperature and the tumble dryer should be avoided to prevent damage to the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a thermal transfer process that uses special inks that turn into gas at high temperatures, impregnating the pores of the fabric and creating a high-definition and durable print. This fabric is digitally printed on one side, so care should be taken when cutting and sewing to keep the printed design in the desired position.
