The Atenas Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit fabric is a knit fabric composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design, created with sublimation technology on polyester, features a vector wave pattern in multi-color modern art style tones. This design could perfectly combine with solid colors such as white, beige, or blue, for example.
Regarding its characteristics, the fabric stands out for its softness and elasticity thanks to the presence of elastane in its composition. On the other hand, the printed design provides a modern and dynamic look, with the waves adding a sense of movement and fluidity to the fabric.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, we can highlight its utility for making knit garments such as jerseys, tops, dresses, or cardigans, as well as for lingerie and pajamas. It is also suitable for manufacturing accessories such as scarves, foulards, or socks, and for making blankets for the home. Due to its softness, we could consider this fabric for making childrens clothing.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only, using digital textile printing.
Regarding the care required for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows for high precision and definition printing on knit fabrics like this one.
