The Recycled Lycra fabric is an elastic fabric that combines polyester and elastane in a composition of 85/15 respectively and a weight of 190 gr/m2. Its width is 150 cm and it has GRS certification, as it is a sustainable and recycled fabric. Its marble texture print, with a simple and decorative home style, is printed on one side by digital textile printing in multicolor. This lycra is soft to the touch, elastic and chlorine resistant. In addition, it has a very high UV Protection Factor 50+. The plain colors that could combine with this design are black, white, gray and pastel shades.
Recycled Lycra is a versatile fabric that is used in various fields. In addition to its application in swimwear fashion, it can be used to make scrunchies and hair ties, thanks to its elasticity and soft touch. It is also ideal for making swimsuits and bikinis, as it offers high UV protection and water resistance. Its elastic texture also allows its use in fitted sportswear.
For fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not dry clean. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in Recycled Lycra is sublimation, which allows designs to be digitally printed on the fabric, obtaining high definition, durability and quality. The process is carried out by transferring ink from paper to fabric using heat and pressure. The ink turns into gas and adheres to the fibers of the fabric. The result is a water and sun resistant print, in this case with the added advantage of being ecological in the specific case of Recycled Lycra.
