The base fabric of Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin has a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric has a soft texture and a brilliant visual sheen. As for the printed design, it features a decorative style representing plant leaves and branches in bakers brown (42.13%), blood brown (31.99%), and sepia brown (12.8%) tones. This fabric is printed on one side using sublimation technology (polyester).
In terms of its uses, this fabric is ideal for furniture decoration such as chairs, armchairs, sofas, and cushions. It can also be used to make fashion garments such as trousers, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, vests, and accessories like handbags and backpacks. Its ideal season is winter.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not dry clean, iron at a low temperature, and do not tumble dry. It can be dry cleaned, except with the use of trichloroethylene.
Finally, it is worth noting that this fabric is printed using sublimation technology (polyester), where the ink turns into gas and is transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. This technique provides durable and high-quality prints.
As for solid color combinations that would work well with this design, we can suggest neutral tones such as off-white, beige, or black, as well as earth tones like olive green or burgundy.
