The base fabric for this textile is a Glasgow Cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design is characterized by an abstract style, featuring drop and circle shapes in multi-color tones, typical of modern painting. Furthermore, its texture is soft to the touch, providing a comfortable feel when worn. This fabric is printed with a single-sided digital textile design, meaning the print does not replicate on the other side; it only appears on the front.
Regarding general characteristics, this fabric has a suitable composition and weight for making outerwear such as overcoats, jackets, and vests. It can also be used in the creation of accessories and home products like coasters and kitchen towels. For colors that could be combined with this design, neutral tones such as black, beige, or white could be used, as well as contrasting tones like red, blue, or green.
This fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and should not be bleached or dry cleaned. To maintain its appearance and texture, it is advisable to iron it at a warm temperature and avoid tumble drying.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which involves transferring the image or design through heat and pressure applied to the fabric, resulting in a soft and durable finish that does not wear out over time.
