Recycled Lycra is a soft and elastic fabric made of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design has high complexity and is characteristic of modern art, with a palette of intense and vibrant multicolored hues. This single-sided digitally printed textile would perfectly combine with solid colors in shades of blue, pink, and orange.
The characteristics of Recycled Lycra include a soft and elastic texture, as well as a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+. The printed design is defined as complex and colorful, with a combination of vibrant shapes and colors that reflect painting techniques.
Recycled Lycra is a fabric primarily used for making sportswear such as swimsuits and bikinis, although it also has other uses like scrunchies. It is a sustainable, recycled fabric that adds value to the production of fashion garments.
For the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoid dry cleaning, iron at a cool temperature, and finally, avoid tumble drying.
Lastly, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which involves printing the design on transfer paper with special ink and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure, achieving a faithful and long-lasting reproduction.
