Velvetleaf - Dublin

The base fabric is called Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, it is a type of corduroy composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its texture is soft and visually shiny. The printed design is an abstract pattern with drops, painted in a hand-drawn style. The complexity of the design is very simple, ideal for decoration and fashion. The main colors are multicolor and could be combined with plain fabrics such as white or beige for good contrast.

It is worth noting that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, which means that only one side of the fabric needs to be printed. The general characteristics of the fabric are softness and visual brilliance, making it ideal for upholstery, winter clothing, and accessories. Furthermore, the printed design is versatile and combines with a variety of fabrics. Among its applications and uses are chairs, armchairs, sofas, trousers, accessories, overshirts, cushions, and baskets.

It is important to consider the care instructions for this fabric: do not bleach, its maximum washing temperature is 30ºC, it is not suitable for dry cleaning but does allow professional dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene, and it cannot be tumble dried.

For the manufacture of this fabric, sublimation technology (polyester) is used, which is a process in which the ink turns into gas and penetrates the fiber of the fabric, being ideal for polyester and polyamide fabrics.
