The Bi-elastic Twill Fabric - Lisbon is a twill fabric composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane. With a weight of 209 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is perfect for fashion garments for both women and men, including trousers, skirts, jeans, and shorts/bermudas. It can also be used in fashion accessories, such as decorative cloths and frames, bedroom, living room, and dining room cushions, and table napkins. Furthermore, the fabric is timeless in terms of its season.
The printed design adorning this fabric features an artistic and abstract style with drop shapes, which can be categorized as very simple in terms of its complexity. Likewise, the design has been manually drawn and features multicolor as its main colors. Combination with plain colors could easily be done using the tones found in the design, such as white, black, blue, and pink. It is worth noting that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of the fabric include a rough, elastic, and soft texture to the touch, which makes it extremely comfortable for use in fashion garments and accessories. As for the printed design, its artistic and abstract style gives a touch of originality and personality to any garment or accessory made with this fabric.
In terms of applications and uses, this fabric is perfect for fashion garments due to its great elasticity and soft texture to the touch. In addition, its resistance allows its use in kitchen cloths and decorative cushions, both for the bedroom and for the living and dining room. It can also be used to create decorative paintings or frames.
Regarding care, it is important to note that the fabric should not be bleached and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. The fabric allows dry cleaning, except for trichloroethylene, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is called sublimation. This process consists of printing the design on paper and then transferring the design to the fabric using heat and pressure. The ink turns into gas and penetrates the fibers of the fabric, creating a durable and resistant design.
