The Boston Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric features a very simple printed design with a modern art style and black and white lines. The main colors of the design are cotton white, midnight black, and wolf gray. Additionally, this fabric could be combined with solid colors such as red or dark blue to contrast with the predominant tones of the design. It is worth noting that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing.
Regarding its general characteristics, the Boston Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric has a brushed finish that makes it soft and comfortable to the touch, ideal for garments such as sweatshirts or tracksuits. Likewise, its weight of 220 gr/m2 makes it resistant and durable, while its polyester composition makes it sustainable as it is a recycled fabric with GRS certification.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to fashion garments such as sweatshirts or tracksuits, it can also be used for making toiletry bags or accessories such as sports backpacks. Due to its composition and finish, it is ideal for the winter season or autumn/winter 2021.
Regarding the care to be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and not iron. In addition, it can be dry cleaned (except with trichloroethylene) and tumble dried at reduced temperature.
Finally, it should be noted that the printing technology used for the Boston Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high-quality and durable printing. This process consists of printing the design on transfer paper and transferring it to the fabric by means of heat and pressure so that the ink turns into gas and adheres to the fibers of the fabric.
