The base fabric is an Organic Cotton Twill - Florence, with a composition of 100% organic cotton and a weight of 195 gr/m2. Its width is 160 cm and it is GOTS - ORGANIC CU1016503 certified. The printed design, printed using reactive direct digital technology, stands out for its simplicity and the use of nature-inspired vector patterns, with a sky and cloud drawing presented in multicolored tones.
This color combination can be maintained in the printed fabrics palette, which could be combined with solid colors that respect the general tone of the fabric, such as lead, gray, or light blue. The fabric is printed on one side, meaning the design is only visible on one of its faces.
The general characteristics of the fabric are described by its soft touch but at the same time with a rigidity that gives it body and support. The combination with the printed design results in an ideal fabric for decorative applications and for making fashion garments such as trousers, shorts, overshirts, and accessories.
The printed design adds visual complexity in contrast to the simplicity of the base fabric, creating a striking and versatile ensemble. Some of the applications and uses for this fabric are: cushions for indoor and outdoor decoration, curtains, and kitchen accessories like napkins, and also for making coin purses and toiletry bags.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not tumble dry, and iron at a cool temperature. Dry cleaning is also allowed, although the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided.
The printing technology used on this fabric is reactive direct digital, which allows printing directly onto the fabrics fibers, ensuring a durable and resistant print. This method is suitable for natural fibers like organic cotton, and its use promotes sustainability by requiring less water and energy in its manufacturing process.
