The Recycled Lycra fabric is a Lycra fabric with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, and certified as sustainable by GRS. This fabric has a soft and elastic texture and features a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+. The printed design is of simple complexity and presents a vector pattern of sky and clouds in multicolor. This design can be combined with solid colors such as white, black, blue, or yellow. It is important to note that the fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, apart from the aforementioned uses for scrunchies, swimsuits, and bikinis, it can also be used for creating leggings, sportswear in general, and underwear. In addition, its recovery capacity and wear resistance make it perfect for use in garments that require mobility and flexibility.
To care for this fabric, it is important to follow the manufacturers instructions. It is advised not to bleach, wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 40º C, iron at a low temperature, and do not tumble dry.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process by which ink is transferred from a solid to a gaseous state without passing through a liquid state, which allows for high definition and fidelity in printed designs. This printing method guarantees high quality, durability, and resistance of the colors, making this fabric the perfect choice for creating high-quality garments.
