Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Tweed-Chanel fabric is a 100% polyester fabric, weighing 420 gr/m2 and with a width of 150 cm, essential in fashion and home textiles for creating jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, cushions, bow ties, caps, shorts, bermudas, and sports vests. As for the printed design, it is characterized by a botanical-style vector pattern with a floral theme, composed of artistic flowers and flowers in multicolor shades. Its texture feels stiff to the touch and is digitally printed on one side.
The combination of this Tweed-Chanel fabric and the multicolor floral design created on it provides a sense of elegance and modernity. The colors that could be combined with the multicolor of this design are solid tones that bring serenity and balance, such as cream white or black. On the other hand, the stiffness of the fabric to the touch and its thickness of 420 gr/m2 offer a firm and structured body, which translates into a good drape and greater durability of the garment or decoration made.
Regarding the care instructions to maintain the quality of the Tweed-Chanel fabric, it is important not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C, allow dry cleaning except trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry so that it does not lose any of its properties and characteristics.
The printing technology used for the manufacturing of Tweed-Chanel fabric is sublimation. This process is based on the transfer of a digital print using heat and with the help of a heat press, the pigment sublimates and permanently fixes onto the fabric fiber, preventing the design from wearing out or losing color over time and maintaining the fabrics softness and resistance.
