The Crepe de Punto Elástico – Riga fabric features a tropical and decorative printed design with artistic flowers in multicolor tones, conveying the essence of Hawaiian culture. This fabric can be combined with solid colors such as yellow, green, or blue to further highlight its printed design.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing, meaning the design is applied to only one side of the fabric. Its general characteristics include a soft, grainy, and elastic feel, making it perfect for manufacturing garments such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear.
Regarding its applications and uses, the Crepe de Punto Elástico – Riga is ideal for womens and mens fashion, and its primary use focuses on light and fresh garments such as summer dresses or shorts. Furthermore, its polyester and elastane composition provides greater durability and resistance.
It is important to consider some special care instructions for this fabric, such as avoiding bleaching and using water at a maximum temperature of 40ºC for washing. Dry cleaning is recommended, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature. It can also be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used for the Crepe de Punto Elástico – Riga is sublimation, a digital printing process that uses heat and pressure to transfer water-based inks directly to the fabric fibers. This process ensures greater fixation of the design to the fabric, which extends the lifespan of garments made with this fabric.
