The base fabric of this garment is the Dubai Melange Jersey Knit, made with 100% polyester and a weight of 135 gr/m2. In this case, it features a printed design with circles and polka dot shapes in predominant colors of silk blue and cotton white. This design contrasts with the fabrics melange texture, which gives it an original and casual look. As for the colors it can be combined with, it is recommended to use whites and light grays for a more informal style, while darker blue tones, such as navy, can be ideal for a more formal outfit. It should be noted that the fabric is digitally printed on one side only.
In terms of general characteristics, it is a smooth, translucent knit fabric with an elastic feel that makes it very comfortable to wear. In addition, its polyester composition provides greater resistance to washing and ease of ironing. On the other hand, in the printed design, the circle and polka dot shapes create a dynamic and youthful look in the garment.
The fabrics attributes, such as applications and uses, are primarily in womens and mens fashion for knitwear and t-shirts, although it can also be used for making sportswear and swimwear due to its water resistance and breathability.
Regarding care instructions, it is important to wash this garment with cold water at a maximum of 30ºC and avoid using bleach. Likewise, it is recommended to avoid tumble drying and iron at a cool temperature to preserve the quality of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used to produce this fabric is the sublimation method on polyester, a process in which inks transform into gas and penetrate the fabrics surface, then solidify and fix on it. This achieves high quality and durability of the printed design on the fabric.
