The Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is an elastic and resistant fabric, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design stands out for its simplicity and modern art style with an inspiration in the nature of crystal clear water. The main colors are Day Blue, Iceberg Blue and Midnight Blue. The design, printed on one side by digital textile printing, gives the drawing a high degree of detail and quality.
The elastic texture and finishes of the fabric, resistant to chlorine and sun with UV protection factor 50+, make it ideal for sportswear, swimwear, lingerie and fashion in general. It combines perfectly with solid colors such as white, black and grey.
For the care of the fabric, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C and not to use bleach or tumble dryer. Dry cleaning can also be performed, except with trichloroethylene. It should be ironed at a low temperature.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, being specifically for polyester fibers. This process is based on the transfer of ink from a special paper to the fabric by means of high temperature and controlled pressure, creating a bond between the ink and the material. This causes the design to integrate into the fabric without causing any additional texture on the surface, thus preventing it from wearing or cracking over time.
