Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
The Tweed - Chanel fabric is a 100% polyester fabric with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design is an abstract brushstroke pattern, based on painting and with a modern art style. The predominant colors are midnight black, plum pastel red, and bell pepper red. Additionally, they could be combined with solid tones such as ecru, white, or burgundy. The fabric is printed with the design on one side using the sublimation technique, which ensures excellent quality and color fidelity.
Regarding its characteristics, the fabric has a rigid texture to the touch, which provides an elegant and sophisticated look to the garments or accessories made with it. The printed design is complex in terms of the variety of brushstrokes and nuances incorporated, giving it a unique and differentiated artistic appearance.
In terms of its applications and uses, the fabric is perfect for making fashion garments for men and women such as jackets, blazers, coats, dresses, skirts, and bomber jackets or vests. It is also suitable for making accessories such as bow ties or caps, as well as for creating decorative cushions in bedrooms, living rooms or kitchens, and even for outdoors.
To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is recommended to wash it in water at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and without using bleach. It can also be dry cleaned, although trichloroethylene should be avoided. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature and it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring colors through heat and pressure. This allows the colors to be impregnated into the fabric fibers, ensuring excellent quality and fidelity in the tones and the printed design.
