The Punto Jersey Cotton Feel - Athens fabric, with its floral and romantic print design, is ideal for winter and autumn/winter 2021 garments. The fabric is soft and elastic, providing a comfortable texture and feel against the skin. The printed design has a standard complexity and features a motif of roses and petals in multicolored tones that brings a fresh and natural touch to any garment made. The design can be combined with plain fabrics in fuchsia, green, and blue tones to create garments with a personal and original touch.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the print is only visible on one side of the fabric and the other side is plain. In addition to having a high grammage (239 gr/m2) and a width of 150 cm, the fabric is very versatile due to its composition of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied, including lingerie and pajamas, knitwear, dresses, cardigans, and even accessories such as scarves and socks. In addition, it can also be used for making blankets in living rooms and bedrooms or napkins in dining rooms.
It is important to note that the fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not bleached or tumble dried, and ironed at a cool temperature. This fabric can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene.
Technologically, this fabric is manufactured using sublimation, a digital textile printing technique that allows colors and designs to appear sharp and clear on the fabric. The process involves applying heat and pressure to transfer the design pigments directly to the fabric.
