The Recycled Lycra fabric is a sustainable fabric weighing 190 gr/m2 with an 85% polyester and 15% elastane content, providing a soft and elastic feel, making it ideal for use in sportswear and swimwear, such as bikinis and swimsuits. This GRS-certified fabric is chlorine-resistant and boasts a very high UV protection factor of 50+, offering protection against the suns rays.
The printed design of this fabric features a tropical and botanical style with artistic flowers, providing a perfect combination for swimwear and summer fashion. The main colors of the design are multi-colored, allowing for great versatility in choosing solid colors that can be combined with this fabric, such as shades of blue, pink, or green.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures crisp and durable image quality. Additionally, it is important to note that this fabric is not printed on both sides, but only on one side.
Regarding its general characteristics, the Recycled Lycra fabric is elastic and chlorine-resistant, making it perfect for use in swimwear and sportswear. Furthermore, its UV protection factor provides additional protection against harmful sun rays.
On the other hand, the attributes of the printed design, such as its tropical and botanical style with artistic flowers, give this fabric a summery and cheerful touch that is perfect for swimwear and fashion.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, apart from its use in swimwear and sportswear, it can also be used in the manufacture of hair ties and scrunchies. Additionally, the fabrics characteristics make it ideal for other applications such as activewear, leggings, tops, and bodysuits.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it should be noted that it needs to be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid the use of bleach and dry cleaning. Furthermore, it is recommended to iron the garment at a low temperature and avoid tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows images to be transferred directly to the fabric using heat and pressure, ensuring durable and resistant image quality against wear and fading.
