The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric of 270 gr/m2, with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, which makes it soft to the touch and with great recovery capacity. This fabric is printed with the stamped design of SHAPES, Circles and Polka Dots in shades of Deep Sea Green, Cotton White and Soft Ivory White. The design creates a feeling of movement and elegance, bringing a fun and original touch to any garment. This design combines perfectly with other solid colors, such as black, white, grey and pastel pink.
The fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, while the other is plain. This printing technology allows for high precision, achieving intense and long-lasting colors.
The fabric has unique characteristics such as its elastic texture and its resistance to chlorine, in addition to having a very high UV protection factor 50+ which makes it ideal for swimwear and sportswear. Its weight and width make it suitable for a variety of applications, from lingerie and bodysuits, to leotards and sports leggings.
It is important to note that the Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi requires certain care to maintain its properties. It is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C, do not tumble dry and iron at a cool temperature. In addition, it allows dry cleaning, except trichloroethylene, which allows it to maintain its quality after multiple washes.
Regarding printing technology, this fabric is manufactured with polyester sublimation. This process consists of printing the design with special inks on transfer paper, which are then fixed to the fabric by heat and pressure. This creates a strong and durable color, which preserves the elasticity and texture of the fabric.
