The Recycled Lycra Fabric – Seal is an elastic fabric composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane with a weight of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric is suitable for making lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, and general fashion garments. As for the printed design, it is characterized by being very simple, with a home decor and modern art style in black and white. Its main colors are Night Black with 59.89%, Night Black with 18.0%, and Army Gray with 8.95%. This design could be combined with solid colors such as white, gray, or burgundy, to give it a more personalized touch. The fabric is printed with the design on one side by digital textile printing.
Among the general characteristics of the fabric, we highlight its texture, its elastic finish, and its chlorine resistance. In addition, it has a high UV protection factor 50+. Regarding the printed design, its complexity is very simple, which makes it more versatile and easy to combine. As for the applications and uses of the fabric, apart from lingerie and swimwear, it is also suitable for sportswear such as tights or leggings, and leotards.
For its care, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not use bleach, do not dry clean, and do not tumble dry. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows the design to be printed in high quality and obtain a wide variety of vibrant colors. This process consists of applying heat and pressure to the ink printed on transfer paper and transferring it to the fabric. Thanks to this technology, a uniform and fade-resistant print is achieved.
