Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Chanel tweed is a high-quality fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design is characterized by being bright, colorful, inspired by photography, and features stone motifs in multicolour tones. This fabric can be combined with other plain colors such as black, white, green, red, blue, and orange. It is printed on one side by digital textile printing.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, it has a rigid texture and a firm feel. The printed design is vibrant and full of details, which give it an elegant and sophisticated look. In terms of its applications and uses, Chanel tweed is ideal for making jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, cushions, bow ties, caps, and sports vests.
To properly care for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoid using trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, iron it with a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry. In addition, this Chanel tweed fabric uses sublimation printing technology (polyester) for its manufacture, which gives it high-quality inks and high durability over time.
