The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, features a standard complexity multicolor printed design in a decorative style, evoking landscapes and trees, as well as sky and snow. The fabric is elastic, chlorine-resistant, and boasts very high UV protection 50+. This fabric is perfectly suited for crafting garments such as lingerie, swimsuits, bikinis, tights, or leggings, among others.
To complement this multicolor design, solid colors in neutral tones like white, black, or grey can be used, or one can opt for bolder shades like red or blue. Its important to note that this fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, making it crucial to consider the correct side for cutting and sewing.
Regarding its general characteristics, this fabric offers a soft and elastic texture and feel, making it particularly comfortable and adaptable to the body. Furthermore, its chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+ ensure it remains in optimal condition for a long time, even when exposed to chemicals and sunlight.
In terms of applications and uses, its worth noting that this type of fabric is highly sought after in the production of sportswear and swimwear due to its elasticity and resistance. However, it can also be used for creating lingerie or general fashion garments, thanks to its softness and adaptability.
Finally, its important to consider that this fabric requires specific care, such as not bleaching, washing at maximum temperatures of 40ºC, and not tumble drying. Additionally, it can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene.
Regarding printing technology, its worth highlighting that sublimation is used to print the design onto the fabric. This process involves transferring inks through special paper that is heated to a high temperature, allowing the inks to penetrate the fabric fibers and ensuring high print quality and durability over time.
