The Nairobi Polyester Lycra fabric, weighing 270 gr/m2, features a complex yet simple printed design inspired by photography and architecture, with brick-like shapes in multi-color tones. This design symbolizes strength, constancy, and permanence, with a touch of creativity and originality that makes it perfect for sportswear, swimwear, and lingerie. Additionally, it can be combined with solid tones like black, white, orange, or red to further highlight the multi-color design.
This fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, meaning the print is visible on one face but not on both. In terms of general characteristics, the fabric is elastic and resistant, with a finish that makes it suitable for swimwear, offering very high UV protection 50+ and chlorine resistance.
Regarding applications and uses, in addition to those already mentioned, this fabric is ideal for sports leggings/tights and leotards, due to its elasticity and ability to conform comfortably to the body. It can also be used to make underwear and other types of sportswear or fashion garments.
To maintain this fabric in good condition, it is important to follow the care instructions, avoiding bleaching and ironing at low temperatures. Furthermore, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to use a tumble dryer.
Finally, the sublimation printing technology (polyester) process allows the design to be transferred to the fabric permanently and with high quality, without affecting or altering the fabrics characteristics.
