Satin - Amsterdam

The Amsterdam Satin fabric is a shiny, very soft-to-the-touch fabric with a composition of 100% polyester and a weight of 120 gr/m2. The printed design consists of cloud shapes that reflect the nature of the sky, in multicolored hues. This design represents the simplicity, softness, and freedom of a sunny afternoon in the countryside. The combination of the main colors in the design could pair with light tones such as white, cream, pastel pink, and light blue.

It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, meaning it is not a double-sided print but a single-sided one. The fabrics texture is very shiny and smooth to the touch, with a very thin density.

The fabric is ideal for fashion applications such as shirts, blouses, skirts, dresses, pants, tops, and scarves, as well as for accessories. Additionally, this fabric is perfect for manufacturing kimonos, pajamas, and lingerie, especially for wedding dresses.

It is important to observe the following care instructions for the Amsterdam fabric: do not bleach, the maximum washing temperature is 40°C, dry cleaning is permitted except with trichloroethylene, ironing at a warm temperature is recommended, and it can be tumble-dried at a reduced temperature.

For the manufacturing of this fabric, sublimation printing technology (polyester) is used, which allows for high definition in printing and a wide variety of colors. This ensures that the printed design withstands use and the passage of time, maintaining its color and shape intact.
