The 220 gr/m2 Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo features a botanical-style printed design with highly complex hydrangea floral elements, predominantly in multicolour. This design gives the fabric a soft and elastic texture, with a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection factor 50+. In addition, the fabric has a wide variety of applications, from sportswear to lingerie and swimwear. The design also lends itself to being combined with plain colours in different shades of green, blue and pink. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only by digital textile printing.
In terms of general characteristics, Polyester Lycra - Cairo is soft to the touch and highly elastic, making it very comfortable and adaptable to the body. For its part, the botanical and floral printed design gives a fresh and natural air to garments made with this fabric. In relation to applications and uses, apart from those already mentioned, this fabric is also perfectly suited to womens and mens fashion garments, such as tops and knitwear.
As for the care we should take into account for this fabric, it is important to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, not to bleach it and to iron it at a cold temperature. This fabric is not suitable for tumble drying and it is advisable not to use products containing trichloroethylene in the dry cleaning process.
Finally, Polyester Lycra - Cairo is manufactured using sublimation printing technology, which consists of transforming a solid ink into gas at high temperature and pressure so that it fixes on the surface of the fabric. This process allows obtaining designs of great quality and precision, with exceptional durability and resistance to discoloration and wear.
