Recycled Lycra is a soft and elastic fabric weighing 190 gr/m2, made of 85% recycled polyester and 15% elastane, making it ideal for creating garments such as bikinis, swimsuits, and scrunchies. This fabric features a soft and elastic texture, chlorine resistance, and a very high UV protection factor of 50+. Additionally, Recycled Lycra is GRS certified and its manufacturing process is sustainable.
The printed design of this fabric has a decorative style, with a colorful checkered and square vectorial pattern. It is a very versatile print that can be combined with solid colors such as white, black, pink, turquoise, and blue. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side.
It is important to note that this fabric is ideal for making activewear like bikinis and swimsuits, as it features chlorine resistance and sun protection. It is also suitable for accessories such as hair ties and scrunchies. Furthermore, Recycled Lycra is a timeless and sustainable fabric, contributing to environmental care.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended to wash at a maximum of 40ºC, do not use bleach, do not dry clean or tumble dry, and iron at a cool temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, a process in which the design is printed onto the fabric using heat and pressure, achieving high color quality and sharpness in the design.
