Satin - Amsterdam

The Amsterdam Satin fabric is a shiny, delicate-feeling fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 120 gr/m2. Its width of 150 cm makes it ideal for making fashion garments such as blouses, skirts, pants, shirts, and accessories like scarves. It can be dry cleaned, ironed at a warm temperature, and tumble dried at a reduced temperature, making it an easy-care and low-maintenance fabric.

The printed design of this fabric is a botanical and floral style vector pattern, where vibrant multicolor tones predominate. The design attributes, such as the artistic painting and drawing of the flowers, give it a delicate and elegant look. This fabric can be combined with solid colors that reproduce some of the main tones of the design, such as blue, pink, green, and yellow.

The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which helps it last longer over time. Regarding its characteristics, we highlight that the texture and feel are appreciable both visually and through physical contact, providing a silky sensation upon contact with the skin.

Regarding applications and uses, apart from fashion and accessories, this fabric is also suitable for lingerie, such as dresses and pajamas. Its shine creates a good drape and a sophisticated look for formal and bridal wear.

It is a delicate fabric that requires specific care. Bleaching is not recommended, and it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC to avoid damaging its structure and color. Ironing should be done at a warm temperature, and for drying, it is recommended to use a tumble dryer at a reduced temperature.

For the production of this fabric, the sublimation printing technique is used, which allows for a high-quality, durable, and wash-resistant result. With this technique, colors are transferred directly from printed paper to the fabric using a heat press, achieving a definition and sharpness in the design that other stamping methods cannot match.
