Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Tweed - Chanel fabric is a tweed fabric with a composition of 100% polyester, with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features simple characteristics with a hand-drawn and hand-painted style in iguana green, French beige brown, and coffee bear brown tones. This design combines very well with solid colors such as white, black, beige, and brown. The fabric is digitally printed with the patterned design on one side only.
The fabrics texture is stiff to the touch and has medium complexity, making it ideal for making fashion garments such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, and bomber jackets. It is also suitable for home decoration, especially for cushions in the living room, bedroom, or kitchen, as well as for outdoor cushions. In addition to its use in fashion and decoration, Tweed - Chanel fabric is an excellent option for accessories such as bow ties and caps, as well as for sports vests.
The fabric requires certain care for its maintenance, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not using trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, ironing at a cool temperature, and avoiding tumble drying.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of applying heat and pressure using a heat press to transfer the ink from the sublimation paper onto the fabric. This results in a crisp and durable design, with a wide variety of colors and precise details. It is important to note that the printing is only on one side of the fabric, which means that the other side will remain in a solid color.
