The base fabric of our product is Glasgow cloth, a fabric composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. With a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150cm, this fabric is ideal for making coats, jackets, or blazers. Its soft and comfortable texture allows garments made with it to offer excellent comfort and an impeccable aesthetic.
On the other hand, the printed design features standard complexity, combining botanical, photographic, and decorative elements to create a natural and attractive ambiance. The plants and leaves imbue a sense of freedom and relaxation into the garment, giving it a fresh, youthful, and sophisticated touch. The multi-colored tones shine in a harmonious and balanced combination, allowing a wide range of combinations with solid colors for making garments and other textile items.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which gives it an excellent finish and great resistance to washing. Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its soft touch and excellent behavior in fashion manufacturing stand out; these characteristics are especially valued in garments for autumn/winter 2021.
The applications and uses of the fabric are diverse, especially its use in altars, in outerwear, and in the manufacture of coasters in textiles/home. This fabric is also ideal for creating jackets, vests, and blazers, thanks to its durability and resistance to daily use.
Special care for this fabric includes avoiding bleaching and a maximum washing temperature of 40°C. Additionally, it is not possible to dry clean the garment, and it should be ironed at a warm temperature and tumble drying should be avoided.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a technique that allows the transfer of ink from paper to fabric through high temperatures and pressure, offering superior image quality and high resistance to washing and wear. In summary, the Glasgow cloth fabric with a botanical/photographic/decorative printed design offers a wide range of manufacturing possibilities for the autumn/winter 2021 season, standing out for its soft texture and resistance.
