The Gabardine - Prada fabric is a twill with a composition of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Printed using sublimation technology, the stamped design is of very simple complexity, with a drawing and decorative style made from art paintings, where multi-colors predominate. This fabric combines especially well with plain shades of blue, white, and black.
The printed fabric with a stamped design has a soft and thin texture, ideal for womens and mens fashion garments, such as shirts, skirts, blouses, and dresses. It is also suitable for making accessories like scarves. Given its weight and composition, it is a fabric especially suitable for the summer season.
The care this fabric requires is mainly no bleaching, maintaining a maximum washing temperature of 30ºC, and, if dry cleaning is chosen, avoiding the use of trichloroethylene and always ironing at a cold temperature. Also, it should not be tumble dried.
Regarding the printing technology used, this fabric has been manufactured using the sublimation technique (polyester), a transfer process that allows high-quality designs to be printed on fabrics, and which is characterized by its resistance to fading and loss of brightness, even after multiple washes. It is a single-sided print, so we must consider its direction when cutting and joining the pieces.
