The base fabric is a high-quality cloth called Glasgow, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, which gives it a soft texture to the touch. This fabric, with a weight of 380 gr/m2, comes in a width of 150 cm and is ideal for making coats, jackets, blazers, and bombers for women and men, as well as for making coasters in the home textile sector. The fabric is presented for the winter and autumn/winter 2021 season.
The printed design is a multi-color vector pattern ideal for home decoration and modern art, which makes it attractive for making altar cloths, in addition to the garments already mentioned. This design combines particularly well with plain colors such as black, beige, maroon, and dark green. It is important to note that the design is printed on one side only using digital textile printing.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric is resistant, comfortable to wear, and has excellent durability, while the printed design is sharp and bright, thanks to the sublimation technology used in printing.
Regarding applications and uses, the Glasgow fabric is versatile and is used for making different garments and home items, such as those already mentioned, thanks to its soft texture and resistance.
For the care of the fabric, it is important to note that bleaching is not recommended, it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironed at a warm temperature, and not tumble-dried. The garment should not be dry cleaned.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of applying ink in a liquid state to the fabric and then subjecting it to high temperature and pressure, allowing the ink to set in the fabrics fibers and offering high-quality results.
