The chosen fabric is Velvet Corduroy - Dublin, which has a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, giving it a soft and visually shiny texture. The printed design features a turtle and is categorized within marine and home decor styles, with a standard complexity level and vector patterning. The predominant colors of the print are champagne raw, pumpkin orange, and coffee bear brown.
This single-sided digitally printed fabric can be combined with solid colors in beige, brown, and terracotta tones to create a warm and cozy look in home decor. In terms of its characteristics, the fabric is resistant and durable, with a grammage of 280g/m2 and a width of 150cm.
Regarding applications, this type of fabric is ideal for upholstering chairs, armchairs, and sofas in marine and home decor styles. It is also suitable for making trousers, jackets, blazers, coats, vests, bags, and backpacks. In decor, cushions, baskets, and other accessories for the kitchen or bedroom can be made.
In terms of care, it is important to note that this fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. It does not allow bleach or dry cleaning, except for trichloroethylene. It can be ironed at low temperature, but the use of dryers is not recommended.
Regarding printing technology, sublimation on polyester is used to obtain a sharp and durable image. This technique uses special inks that vaporize and then fix onto the fabric fibers, achieving great resistance to washing and daily use.
