The Recycled Lycra fabric is a sustainable lycra, with a composition of 85% recycled polyester and 15% elastane. Its weight is 190 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm, and it can be used in various applications such as bikinis, swimsuits, hair ties, and scrunchies. In addition, it has GRS certification which guarantees its recycled origin.
The printed design has a very simple complexity, with a blurred and colorful style, highlighting the multitude of colors used in it. This design can be combined with solid colors such as white, black, blue, and pink, among others. The fabric is printed with this design on one side by digital textile printing, which ensures greater resistance and durability of the print.
Recycled Lycra is soft and elastic to the touch, with a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV Protection Factor of 50+. The printed design, for its part, is decorative and visually attractive, offering a wide variety of colors to combine in any project.
The applications of the fabric are varied, among them are swimwear, since its composition and weight offer great adaptability to the body, as well as its use in accessories such as hair ties and scrunchies.
The care that must be taken into account for this fabric is washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironing at a cold temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried, in addition to avoiding bleaching and dry cleaning.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which allows obtaining a precise and high-quality print, penetrating the ink into the fiber of the fabric, guaranteeing its durability and resistance to fading.
