Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Tweed-Chanel fabric is a polyester fabric with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features circular shapes in shades of DarkSlateBlue, white, and Lavender Pink, with a touch of elegance and sophistication. This design could perfectly combine with solid colors in neutral tones such as gray, black, or white. It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing. Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric and its design, we can say that the texture is rigid and the feel is firm and soft at the same time.
Among the most common applications and uses for this fabric, we can highlight fashion garments such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, and vests for both women and men. Cushions and accessories for the home and kitchen can also be made, as well as bow ties and caps for fashion. Thanks to its structure and weight, it is also ideal for making sports vests for women, men, or children.
Regarding fabric care, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned with the exception of trichloroethylene. It is recommended to iron it at a cool temperature and avoid tumble drying to extend its lifespan.
The printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows for high definition and sharpness in the printed designs. This technique consists of printing the design on special paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. The result is a soft-to-the-touch and durable finish.
