The Lycra Polyester base fabric - Cairo, 220 gr/m2, stands out for its composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, which gives it an elastic and soft texture, as well as chlorine resistance. Its width of 150 cm and weight of 220 gr/m2 make it an ideal fabric for multiple applications, such as sportswear, lingerie, tops, or bikinis. As for the printed design, it stands out for its abstract, decorative, and artistic style, in which multicolor waves evoking the movement of water predominate. This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of the fabric and the printed design are of high quality, with optimal durability and resistance. In addition, the luminous and vivid colors of the printed design stand out against the white base of the fabric, making it a perfect option for creating unique and original garments. In terms of combinations, this fabric pairs perfectly with solid colors such as black, white, blue, or pink.
Among the applications and uses of the fabric, sports applications are particularly noteworthy, such as swimwear, including both bikinis and swimsuits, as well as lingerie bras and bralettes. It is also ideal for adding an original touch to knitwear or tops. Thanks to its polyester and elastane composition, the fabric is very resistant and durable, perfect for garments that require continuous and demanding use.
It is important to note the special care this fabric requires, such as not bleaching, washing in cold water at 40ºC, ironing at a cool temperature, avoiding the dryer, and being suitable for dry cleaning. This way, the quality and resistance of the fabric and the printed design will be preserved.
Finally, it is important to highlight the printing technology of this fabric, which is done by sublimation (polyester). This is a high-quality technique that allows the design to be integrated directly into the fabric structure, ensuring its resistance and durability against washing and daily use.
