The base fabric for this description is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, mainly composed of polyester and polyamide. Its weight of 280 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm make it ideal for upholstering and decorating furniture, as well as for making garments such as overshirts, jackets, and trousers.
The printed design on this fabric features artistic complexity, inspired by paintings and drawings. The predominant colors are midnight black, blood brown, and army gray, which combine perfectly with plain colors like white, cream, or beige to achieve an elegant and classic atmosphere; or with vibrant colors like mustard yellow or dark green for a more modern and daring atmosphere.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, meaning the print is only on one face of the fabric. This printing technique allows for a wide variety of colors and precise details in the design.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, we can highlight its soft and visually shiny texture, making it ideal for use as a decorative detail in homes. Furthermore, it has the ability to withstand continuous use and shows great durability.
The applications and uses for Velvety Corduroy - Dublin fabric are varied, as mentioned earlier; in fashion, its use in overshirts, jackets, blazers, and trousers stands out. In decoration, it is used to upholster chairs, sofas, and armchairs, as well as to create cushions, baskets, and other accessories.
To keep the fabric in optimal condition, it is important to consider certain care instructions such as not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not dry cleaning, ironing at a cool temperature, and avoiding tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which uses a special ink to transfer a high-quality image through heat and pressure, ensuring that the image does not fade over time or lose its visual impact.
