The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra called Cairo, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. It has a width of 150 cm and its texture is elastic and soft to the touch, making it perfect for sportswear and lingerie. The printed design, applied using sublimation technology, is a swirl painting with a colorful style and a simple vectorial pattern. The main colors are multicolor, but they could be combined with solid colors in warm tones such as orange, pink, or fuchsia. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, meaning the design is visible only on one side.
The fabric has several characteristics that make it ideal for use in sportswear and lingerie, such as its elasticity and chlorine resistance. Additionally, it has a very high UPF protection factor of 50+, making it perfect for swimwear collections. The printed design is perfect for timeless and fashionable garments, thanks to its simple and colorful style. Cairo fabric can be used in a wide variety of applications and uses, including knitwear, tops, bikinis, swimsuits, bras, and scrunchies, making it very versatile.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and ironed at a low temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended. The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which allows for higher print quality on polyester fabrics, as the design is fixed at a molecular level.
