The Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2 is a Lycra-type fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. Its printed design stands out for its colorful and simple swirl shapes, printed on one side by digital textile printing. This multicolored design combines perfectly with plain tones in black, white, green or blue, which would allow for very striking garments to be created.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric is elastic and chlorine-resistant, with a very high UV protection factor of 50+. The design, for its part, is simple but elegant, with a simple complexity and a style that resembles an abstract art painting in a vectorial pattern.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear and swimwear, bikinis, leotards, and leggings. Thanks to its elasticity and resistance, it is an ideal fabric for close-fitting garments, such as bikinis, leotards or leggings.
Regarding the care that must be taken to maintain the quality of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at no more than 40ºC, do not tumble dry, iron at a cool temperature, and do not use trichloroethylene for dry cleaning.
Finally, the printing technology of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which means that the design is applied through a process that converts the ink into gas at high temperatures, impregnating the fabric. In this way, the print is durable and resists washing and wear.
