The base fabric is a brushed sweatshirt fabric weighing 220 gr/m2 and made of 100% polyester. It has a width of 160 cm and requires a maximum washing temperature of 40ºC; ironing is not recommended. This fabric, called Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston, boasts GRS certification and is recycled, making it a sustainable choice. The printing technology used to create the stamped design is sublimation (polyester).
The printed design reflects an artistic and abstract painting style, with standard complexity and detailed drawing that makes it visually impactful. The predominant colors are multicolor, allowing the fabric to be combined with other plain tones that match the designs hues. The fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of the fabric make it suitable for applications such as womens and mens fashion, in sweatshirts and sports tracksuits, as well as in the manufacture of toiletry bags and backpacks. The brushed finish of the fabric makes it soft and comfortable against the skin, while sublimation printing technology ensures excellent definition and color fidelity.
Regarding care, it is important to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC without using bleaches and dry it at a reduced temperature. It is not suitable to iron the fabric, and it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene.
Finally, sublimation printing technology consists of the direct application of the design onto the fabric using heat and pressure, allowing the pigments to adhere to the fabric in a permanent and durable manner. This printing technique is ideal for synthetic fabrics like polyester, as it guarantees the sharpness and definition of the designs.
