The Twill - Prada fabric is a polyester and elastane blend, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its soft texture makes it ideal for fashion garments such as shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and scarves, especially in the summer season. Twill is a strong and durable type of weave thanks to its diagonal interlacing. In this case, the fabric is printed with a standard complexity design, notable for its abstract and artistic style with hints of painting and drawing. The design is multicolored and could be combined with solid colors such as white, black, green, or pink, among others. The printing technique used is sublimation, which allows the design to be stamped on one side of the fabric using ink and heat.
Regarding the general characteristics of the Twill - Prada fabric, its soft touch and fine texture stand out. The presence of elastane in its composition gives the fabric great elasticity and adaptability to the body, which makes it especially comfortable for clothing. For its part, the printed design presents great artistic complexity, notable for its abstract strokes and its style typical of painting and drawing.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, it is ideal for both feminine and masculine fashion garments, especially those intended for the summer season, such as shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and scarves. Thanks to its resistance, it can also be appropriate for making accessories such as bags or backpacks.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is important to avoid the use of bleaches and not subject it to temperatures above 30ºC when washing. Dry cleaning is recommended (except with trichloroethylene), ironing at a low temperature, and not tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, which consists of the transfer of inks through heat and pressure onto polyester. In this way, high-quality designs with vibrant colors are achieved, which integrate perfectly with the texture of the fabric.
