Velvetleaf - Dublin

The base fabric is a velvety corduroy called Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a fabric width of 150 cm. It has a soft and shiny texture, which makes it ideal for decorative and fashion uses, such as furniture upholstery, trousers, jackets, or bags. Additionally, it boasts extra attributes like easy dry cleaning and resistance to cold ironing.

The fabric is printed with a single-sided digital textile print design, which in this case is a simple, modern art painting in black and white with multiple colors, giving it a unique and avant-garde touch. The main colors of the design are multi-colored, so combining it with solid tones like white or black will further accentuate the design itself.

The general characteristics of the fabric are its tactile and visual qualities, its softness to the touch, and its shine, characteristics that are reflected in the printed design. On the other hand, the velvety corduroy can be used in different applications and uses such as interior and exterior decoration, cushions, baskets, and furniture upholstery, although it can also be used in fashion for trousers, jackets, or accessories like bags and backpacks.

Regarding fabric care, it is important to note that it should not be bleached, washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, cannot be dry cleaned with trichloroethylene, and should not be tumble dried. Furthermore, it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the quality of the corduroy.

Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows the design to be printed uniformly and clearly by applying heat and pressure to the fabric. This technique ensures high quality and resistance of the printed design on the fabric, thus guaranteeing its durability and excellent visual quality.
