This time, we present the Glasgow wool fabric, which has a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. With a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is characterized by a soft touch and a pleasant texture. Its printed design is defined as simple and geometric, with vectorial patterns of circles and squares in shades of denim blue, cotton white, and light orange. This design can be easily combined with solid colors such as white, black, gray, and even earthy tones. This fabric is printed with the design on one side using the digital textile printing technique.
Regarding its general characteristics, the Glasgow wool fabric is ideal for making coats, trench coats, jackets, vests, and blazers for both women and men. In addition, it can also be used in home decoration to make coasters and kitchen towels. As for its care, it is recommended to wash at a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees and avoid bleaching and dry cleaning. Ironing should be done at a warm temperature, and tumble drying is not allowed.
Finally, it is important to note that this fabric is manufactured using polyester sublimation technology. This process consists of printing the design on transfer paper and then transferring it to the fabric through heat and pressure. In this way, high print quality and superior durability are achieved since the design is printed on the surface of the fabric without adding weight or stiffness to it.
