The Riga Elastic Knit Crepe fabric is composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, with a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features standard complexity and is categorized under home decor and modern art styles, with a predominance of artistic floral elements. The main colors are multi-color, allowing it to be combined with shades of pink, green, or blue, for example. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
In terms of its characteristics, the Riga Elastic Knit Crepe fabric has an elastic and grainy feel, giving it a very pleasant texture. Its elasticity facilitates the garment manufacturing process, allowing for a better fit to the body. Furthermore, the printed design adds a touch of vibrancy and style to any garment made with it.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, it can be used for making various garments such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, skirts, pants, cardigans, knitwear, among others. Thanks to its elasticity, it is perfect for garments that require a certain degree of looseness, such as jumpsuits, although it can also be used for fitted garments.
As for its care, it is important not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40°C. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and ironed at a cool temperature. Additionally, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique allows for greater definition of the design and increased durability of the printed image, as the color is impregnated into the fabric fibers instead of remaining on the surface, which prevents it from fading over time.
