The Tweed - Chanel fabric features a complex and decorative botanical print design, with multicolored tulips and artistic flowers on a base of light and dark tones. This fabric, with a composition of 100% polyester and a weight of 420 gr/m2, stands out for its rigid texture to the touch. This printed design can be combined with solid colors in green, blue, pink, and black tones to further highlight its floral nature.
The fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the quality and sharpness of the design are captured on one side of the fabric. Regarding its general characteristics, the Tweed - Chanel fabric stands out for its rigidity and great durability, making it an ideal choice for making jackets, coats, skirts, dresses, and bomber jackets. It can also be used for making cushions for bedrooms, living rooms, and kitchens, or for making shorts, bow ties, or caps.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important to avoid bleaching and wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. This fabric allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene and should be ironed at a low temperature. It is not suitable for tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, a process by which a sharp and high-definition print is achieved on synthetic fabrics such as polyester. In this process, a special dye is used which, when subjected to high temperatures, turns into gas and is printed on the fiber of the fabric, guaranteeing a print resistant to washing and sunlight.
