Tweed - Chanel fabric is a type of tweed with a 100% polyester composition, a weight of 420 gr/m2, and a fabric width of 150 cm. Its printed design features standard complexity and a decorative style with botanical and floral elements, highlighting tulips and artistic flowers. Its main colors are multicolor and could be combined with plain colors such as black, white, pink, and blue. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
Regarding its general characteristics, the fabric has a rigid texture to the touch and is perfectly suited for making garments such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, blousons, vests, shorts, and bow ties. It is also suitable for creating cushions for both indoor and outdoor use. Thanks to its versatility, it is suitable for womens, mens, and even childrens fashion.
To properly care for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning is possible, except with trichloroethylene, and it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is not suitable for this fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which involves printing the design on transfer paper with sublimation inks and then transferring this image onto the fabric using heat and pressure. This results in higher definition and sharpness in the print, as well as greater wash resistance and durability.
