Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a canvas-type fabric, with a composition of 100% polyester and a weight of 260 gr/m2. Its width is 160 cm and it has GRS certification, being sustainable thanks to its recycling process. This fabric is designed with a paint art print, drawn and vector pattern, with cloud shapes and references to the nature of the sky. The main colors of the design are cotton white, glacial ice blue, and gulf blue. In addition to these colors, the fabric could be combined with light and dark shades of blue and white. It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing.
Regarding its general characteristics, the fabric has a rough and rigid texture, with an opaque visual appearance. The printed design offers an aesthetic artistic and natural style, which will combine perfectly with spaces that seek a decoration with references to nature and the tranquility of the sky.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are the decoration of frames, pictures and cushions, fashion accessories such as wallets, backpacks and hats, as well as for upholstering sofas, chairs and armchairs. In addition, it is suitable for accessories such as toiletry bags, purses and tote bags, as well as for making aprons, table runners and placemats, and baskets and frames for living rooms.
Regarding the care that this fabric should receive, it is important to avoid bleaching and not wash at temperatures greater than 30°C. It is possible to dry clean with solvents and iron the fabric at a cool temperature. It is also possible to use a tumble dryer at a reduced temperature.
Finally, this fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology, specifically designed for polyester fabrics such as the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas. This technology allows for greater durability of the printed design, without it coming off or fading with use and washing.
